Les Champs Fulliot : Bouchard Père & Fils owns 0.88 ha., i.e. 10 % of the land on chalky clay, the latter dominating, giving wines with a complex bouquet of red berries. Generally pleasantly fragrant on the palate, they express finesse and elegance. Formerly called Champ Feuillot, this appellation was cited as one of the best in Doctor Lavalle's book in 1855, due to its geographical situation half way up the slope and its ground dating back to the Oxfordian period.

Le Village

Le Château Gaillard

Les Duresses : the 1,72 ha. of Bouchard Père & Fils estate give rich wines with varied scents of berries. On the palate they are charmingly structured and rounded.

In Monthélie, the first traces of vines go back to the 9th century. Between Volnay, Meursault and Auxey-Duresses, this Village is often ignored. The visitor goes from Volnay to Meursault without stopping here, missing the old houses and typical Burgundian church not to mention the castle built in 1000.

On chalky clay, the Monthélie vineyards produce fine, elegant wines which can easily compete with those of Volnay. Bouchard Père & Fils has an estate of 2.91 ha. on the Monthélie "Appellation", producing wines with rich aromas of red berries, elegant, fragrant and delicate.
