Precise gestures and “balanced” intervention.
At the domaine, the prevailing spirit is that of searching for a correct balance between human intervention and the biological cycle of the vine, with the aim of allowing each terroir to reveal its own nuances. All through the year, vignerons and pieceworker tâcherons carefully maintain the 130 hectares of the Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils, according to a precisely established calendar. Each parcel is supervised individually by a vineyard manager. A “health chart booklet” collects, for each of the parcels, all information and observations allowing their evolution through time to be measured.
